File Preparation
American Graphics & Signs, Inc. in providing the best in banner/signage production requires the artwork to be in the following formats:
- Camera-ready, color-separated mechanical art at 1/4 size
- Computer generated art as electronic files
When supplying electronic files, please include:
- Fonts, or convert all fonts to outlines
- Color printout of your design.
When supplying electronic scans, please supply a 300 dpi scan at 1/4 size.
We prefer Illustrator or EPS files. Placed images should be provided at least at 50 DPI at full size, 100 DPI at half size and 200 DPI at 1/4 size. However, American Graphics can discuss each client’s individual needs to determine whether the artwork will be satisfactory for the overall design.
